We provide a variety of care levels, we start with a minimum of 4 hours per day with an ultimate of 24 hours care per day for those who need our help. 

We often receive the question: “Why do we have to staff so many different caregivers”?

When we schedule in caregivers we not only want you to feel a compatibility with the caregiver, we also want our caregiver to experience a compatibility before scheduling the caregiver in long term. This could result in changes in caregiver. However, we always aim to limit the changes in caregivers. 


With a maximum shift of 12 hours one could be served by 2 caregivers in the case of a 24-hour/day care need.

Our home care managers are available to perform assessments and to provide consultation to assist you in understanding and implementing your doctor’s orders. We frequently attend doctor visits to help our clients better understand a complex medical situation, and make informed decisions about their health.

At Complete Care at Home, we pride ourselves on remaining focused and flexible to accommodate your family’s needs. We request cancellations to be made with at least 24 hours’ notice, and any other requested adjustments to the schedule are welcome and accommodated to the best of our ability.

We work closely with our clients and their families to communicate important details about care. Additionally, both our medical and administrative staff are available 24 hours a day, every day of the year, should you have specific questions.

We also offer an online portal to assess your family member’s daily schedule, shift calendar, invoicing information and communicate appointment or schedule changes. You can log in at any time to review this information.

All of our clients have direct access to the home care manager on call at any hour of the day or night. We also have an administrative hotline to reach our leadership at any time. While our detailed planning prevents most unforeseen circumstances or urgent matters from arising at odd hours, we are available 24/7.

There are no additional costs for this associated service. If you request an additional home care manager’s visit to your home, that visit will be billed at the normal rate. After-hours rates may apply for visits outside of regular business hours.

Yes, our team has over 30 years of experience working with the various facilities that provide skilled nursing across our community, as well as many of the top surgeons and physicians in the Santa Barbara area. We work closely with our clients, and utilize our local resources to ensure that you receive the appropriate level of care.

No, we choose not to provide Medicare-paid services. If desired, we coordinate with other agencies to provide such care, which is usually short-term and task-oriented. 

We assist you in obtaining your long-term health care insurance benefits by providing appropriate home care manager assessments and care records for you to file. 

The best and easiest methods of payments for us are the following:

  1. Cheque payment, no extra charges
  2. ACH payment (bank to bank) $3  per transaction
  3. Creditcard payment, add 3.75% transaction charges to the billed invoice
