The Aijian family name is well-known and respected throughout the Santa Barbara area, and have been meeting the care needs of its residents since 1979. Carolyn Aijian, a registered nurse, along with her husband, Dr. Paul Aijian, a highly-regarded internist with a special interest in geriatrics, and their daughter, Katie Lekas, RN, together bring an unsurpassed level of healthcare expertise, trust, and insight to Complete Care at Home.

Meet Our Team

Carolyn Aijian, RN, CHCM
Executive Director

Carolyn Aijian has been dedicated to healthcare since 1975, starting as a registered nurse. Her extensive experience includes roles at Huntington Memorial Hospital, oncology offices, geriatric practices, and skilled nursing facilities. Carolyn founded Independent Nurse Consulting, which evolved into Complete Care at Home. She has also served on several boards of directors. Carolyn enjoys singing, horseback riding, cooking, sewing, reading, and traveling.

Katie Lekas, RN, BSN, CHCM
Director of Home Care Management

A Santa Barbara native, Katie Lekas grew up immersed in the medical field, inspired by her parents' work. She graduated from Santa Barbara City College's nursing program in 2012 and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Jacksonville University in 2013. Katie lives in town with her husband and daughters, continuing her family's tradition of compassionate care.

Tracy Lien
Director of Human Resources

Tracy Lien, born and raised in Santa Barbara, studied biology at UCSB due to her interest in science and healthcare. Joining Complete Care at Home in 2013, Tracy oversees recruitment, hiring, payroll, compliance, and staff training. In her free time, she enjoys coffee with friends, exploring the outdoors, and volunteering with her local church's youth group.
